Documentary photography provides a straightforward and accurate representation of people, places, objects, and events based on objectivity. This series, however, is the antithesis of that definition. The "Estonia Streets" series is not objective; it is subjective. This approach contrasts with my other work documenting Estonia, which you can view on my website to observe the difference between factual representation and personal perspective. Through this project, I aim to explore how personal experience and reality intersect, creating a dialogue between objective documentation and subjective interpretation. In every country we visit, our perceptions and learnings are influenced by our own cultural backgrounds. We absorb elements from the new culture, striving to adapt ourselves to its collective consciousness.
