Grand Mosque (Ulu Cami) 
Bursa is home to many significant Ottoman mosques, including the  Grand Mosque, which was built between 1396 and 1399. This mosque is known for its impressive size, beautiful calligraphy, and 20 domes supported by 12 columns.
Koza Han
Bursa was an important center for the silk trade in the 15th and 16th centuries. The city’s renowned silk products contributed to its wealth and prestige, and the Koza Han, a historic caravanserai, still stands as a testament to this vibrant trade.
Unfortunately now in Bursa, crime rate is a threat for the people.
Besides being patriarchal, women expected to be stay home and only be a good housewife.

Bursa is one of the cities that most supports Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Turkey.

Women are really under pressure about what they wear and how they talk to men.
Back then, trading silk for the nobles between the East and West.  It has always saddened me that a city that has played such a role as a bridge throughout history somehow got stuck in religious bigotry.

Unfortunately, as a women you will be exposed to the direct gaze of men by only walking on the street.
